The Warranty Group Adds Industry Leader in IT Role
Chicago –The Warranty Group Inc. (TWG) appointed Tom Kilian chief information officer. Kilian is responsible for managing TWG’s global enterprise systems, infrastructure and processes across its 33 global offices and will focus on bringing new and differentiating technology solutions to the company and its customers. He reports to Tom Warsop, CEO.
Kilian comes to TWG with an extensive background in IT development and corporate management. He joins the company after working as a strategic consultant leading a global assessment of the company’s IT infrastructure and operations, and contributing to the restructuring of the company’s European operations. In addition to previous M&A integration experience, his 35-year career includes CIO and COO positions at Conseco Inc. and other operating and information technology roles within the global insurance and financial services industries.
“Tom’s long history of successfully standardizing IT platforms will improve our operating efficiency, while providing a single integration point for our global clients,” said Warsop. “We will leverage his deep industry experience and strong leadership to strengthen our position as a market leader in warranties, insured service plans and related solutions worldwide.”
