Jeep maker Stellantis is the latest automaker to adopt Tesla's North American Charging System, giving some of its electric-vehicle customers access to more than 28,000 of the "Superchargers" across North America, Japan and South Korea.

The integration will start next year in North America and in 2027 in Japan and South Korea, the company said. The first vehicles eligible to use the chargers will be North American battery-electric models, such as the Jeep Wagoneer S, Dodge Charger Daytona and 2026 Jeep Recon.

“By unlocking broader access to charging infrastructure, Stellantis gives customers more choice, more coverage and more control over how, where and when they power their BEVs,” Stellantis said in announcing the coming availability.

NACS Superchargers can be accessed through an adapter provided by the vehicle’s manufacturer, but Stellantis hadn't yet released information about the adapters it will provide its customers.

Stellantis closely follows Volkswagen in gaining access to the largest U.S. fast charging network.

Its customers will be able to search for Supercharger locations via the Tesla app or the interactive map on the Texas-based automaker's website.
