A Cleveland-area auto dealership has a new owner in a growing auto group spread across Ohio and Florida.

North Olmstead Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in North Olmstead, Ohio, has been a community fixture for nearly 50 years. It started out as Strongsville Dodge in 1976 and was moved to nearby North Olmstead in 2010, when the Chrysler Jeep brand was added.

Paul Hrnchar Jr., whose family had owned the store since 1986, sold it to Serpentini Auto Group in a transaction brokered by Tim Lamb Group. It’s been renamed Serpentini Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram North Olmsted.

The 41,000-square-foot dealership on four acres, with showroom, service drive and parts departments, also features an independently operated body shop.

The Hrnchar family will continue to operate an Alfa Romeo and Fiat dealership in Strongsville.

The Serpentinis, who’ve been in the auto retail business for 45 years, operate seven other dealerships, including multiple Chevrolet franchises in Northeast Ohio.

The family plans to remodel the North Olmstead store’s showroom to focus it on the Jeep brand.
