GE Capital Fleet Services, Carfax Expand Relationship
EDEN PRAIRIE — GE Capital Fleet Services announced it has expanded its relationship with Carfax to provide the wholesale market with greater access to vehicle data. Buyers at auction will now have access to vehicle sales records and service histories, as well as auction-announced and accident management program damage records, reported F&I and Showroom magazine.
“This is a decisive choice that makes the remarketing and acquisition process better for everyone,” said Paul Seger, vice president of asset remarketing at GE Capital Fleet Services.
Since 2003, GE Capital Fleet Services has worked with Carfax to enhance the resale value of its off-lease vehicles, according to the company.
“Carfax Vehicle History Reports are a critical tool in the wholesale market,” said Dave Sutton, national director at Carfax. “When buyers and sellers have equal access to vehicle history information from a trusted third party source, the result is a more efficient market where everyone wins.”
