Fords Recalled Over Fire Risk
Certain Broncos and Escapes could experience leaks that present risk.
Certain Ford Bronco Sports are among the vehicles included in the expanded recall.

Ford has recalled nearly 43,000 Bronco Sports and Escapes over a fuel injector issue that could lead to fire.
The recall affects certain 2022 and 2023 Bronco Sports and 2022 Escapes with 1.5-liter engines. Ford says that a fuel injector could crack, leaking fuel into the engine compartment and presenting risk of fire, according to a notice on the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration's website.
The action is an expansion of an earlier recall.
Ford dealers will make an engine-control software update to add leak detection, plus install a drain tube.
The automaker is scheduled to mail notices to owners this month.
