“Agents should focus on production through compliant processes and training,” Van Over added. “But trying to be the ‘Compliance Cop’ is a step too far. This session will help agents with options on helping dealers with compliance without putting on a badge.”

Gil Van Over is the executive director of Automotive Compliance Education (ACE) and the author of Automotive Compliance in a Digital World. ACE is a compliance training and industry certification company, that provides varying curricula and certification for all dealership employees involved in the sales and F&I processes, from sales people and managers to office managers and compliance officers.

Van Over is also the president of gvo3 & Associates, a nationally recognized compliance consulting, audit, training and review firm. He and his team work with dealerships around the country in implementing F&I and Sales Compliance Management Solutions to help dealers manage and mitigate compliance issues. He is a frequent speaker to industry groups and also provides litigation support on behalf of automotive retailers and insurers.

Now in its 11th year, Agent Summit is designed to benefit agents and agencies of all sizes, levels of experience and catering to multiple specialties. The 2022 agenda is comprised of the general Agent Summit educational tract, the Participation & Reinsurance Symposium, breakouts targeting agencies of different levels, and a tract dedicated to New Business Opportunities.

The event's Early-Bird registration rate of $945 will remain in effect until April 29. Attendees may reserve their room at the event's discounted rate of $209/night which will remain in effect until April 29.
