VW Credit, Inc. (VCI) has officially launched the new VolkswagenDirect and AudiDirect sites using ATLANTA – Manheim’s advanced upstream remarketing platform. These sites, launched near the end of 2020, offer franchise dealers access to fresh off-lease inventory while enabling VCI to take advantage of a flexible and powerful solution for its vehicle portfolio management. Best of all, the integration of these sites into the Manheim Marketplace offers VCI a seamless way to offer unsold pre-owned vehicles to Manheim’s unmatched base of franchise and independent buyers.

We built this platform with our clients in mind—modern, flexible, and deeply integrated into the broader Manheim and Cox Automotive ecosystem to bring the most value to our clients, their dealers, and the rest of the Manheim Marketplace.

“As we looked to the future of our upstream portfolio management, we knew we needed a partner who could provide a flexible, customizable platform, deep integrations with other technologies, and the ability to get our vehicles in front of the most buyers,” said Robert Hodge, V.P., Remarketing – North American Region, VW Credit, Inc. “Manheim provides that and more.”

Together with VCI, Manheim designed and delivered a flexible, configurable solution that enables VCI to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies and buyer requirements in remarketing off-lease inventory to franchise and non-franchise dealers. Manheim’s upstream remarketing platform provides VCI with an endto- end solution for grounding and pricing vehicles, conducting online sales, monitoring stop sales, and optimizing vehicle portfolio management—all resulting in a powerful remarketing management system with advanced reporting capabilities and analytics. Co-listing capability allows VCI vehicles to be offered on OVE, Manheim.com, and the VCI Direct sites simultaneously, dramatically expanding the demand base without having to physically move the vehicles.

Tight integrations with MMR, Cox Automotive sister companies, industry partners, and VCI’s own key systems provide deep data and analytics that improve the dealer experience and maximize remarketing returns.

“We’re proud to be VCI’s partner of choice for its new upstream remarketing platform, providing full support throughout the vehicle lifecycle,” said Zach Hallowell, senior vice president, Manheim Digital Solutions. “We built this platform with our clients in mind—modern, flexible, and deeply integrated into the broader Manheim and Cox Automotive ecosystem to bring the most value to our clients, their dealers, and the rest of the Manheim Marketplace.”

In the two months since the VolkswagenDirect and AudiDirect sites have been live, thousands of vehicles have already been grounded and sold.
