RICHARDSON, Texas — Accelerated Service International (ASI) announced it has appointed Kurtis Orcutt as president, effective immediately. A 34-year veteran of the automotive retail and finance industry, Orcutt has served in leadership positions with three other admin companies.

Kurtis will be part of the management team which includes Peter Masi (CEO), Bob Reimers (COO/CIO), Deb Reimers (CFO) and Michael Moretz (SVP Sales N.A.), making an established team even stronger.

“This business is built on relationships, and ASI has done a great job of putting the infrastructure in place to make administration and customer service — for dealers and agents — the best it can possibly be,” Orcutt said. “My job now is to take it up a notch.”

Kurtis said ASI, which currently counts about 100 employees, plans to hire at least 40 more by the time the company moves into a new, 24,000-square-foot building in September. As the vertically integrated parent company of subsidiaries such as Dealer Motor Services Inc., Independent Dealer Group (IDG), Ownershield Inc. and Smart AutoCare, ASI has grown “tremendously” over the past five years, Orcutt said, and is poised for even greater success.

“We plan to double our size in the next two and a half years and then to double it again in the two and a half years after that,” he said. “It’s a lot of moving parts, and we need to ensure we are not only growing but also able to control that growth and continue to provide excellent customer service. But we have a great staff, a great sales team, and all the processes in place to make that happen.”
