Four Dealership Sales Close in Four States
Groups acquire various brands, and one also buys a commercial truck business.
Dealerships sell in Michigan, Ohio, New Jersey and the Delaware-Maryland area.

Domestic brand dealerships changed hands in four deals over the past two quarters, Automotive News reported.
I.g. Burton Auto Group acquired a Stellantis dealership with its purchase of Newark Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-Ram in Delaware, renaming it I.g. Burton Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-Ram of Newark. The add gives the dealer group an even 10 new car dealerships in the Delaware and eastern Maryland area among the General Motors, Stellantis, Mercedes-Benz and BMW brands.
Nielsen Automotive Group in East Hanover, N.J. acquired two dealerships west of Newark, a Ford store and a Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram dealership, branding both with the Nielsen name. The group also bought a commercial truck business in East Hanover that sells to state and local governments.
McDonald Auto Group bought the Dave Hall Inc. Chevrolet-Buick dealership in Marlette, Mich., renaming it McDonald Chevrolet-Buick.
SVG Motors Auto Group bought Springfield Buick-GMC in Ohio, renaming it SVG Springfield Buick-GMC. The group, which covers the Dayton, Ohio, area, now has half a dozen stores across General Motors, Stellantis and Toyota. It purchased the store from Kenwood Dealer Group, which now has 14 dealerships and was ranked 74th on Automotive News’ top 150 U.S. dealer groups last year.
