Agent Summit 2013 Set for March

October 9, 2012
2 min to read

LAS VEGAS — The third annual Agent Summit will be held March 4-6, 2013, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The event, which doubled in size between 2011 and 2012, is already looking like it will continue to build on that momentum.

David Gesualdo, show chair and publisher of F&I and Showroom magazine, said exhibitors are lining up to support the show. “We’ve found our niche in an event built by and for general agents, and the industry has responded,” Gesualdo said. “Now, we turn to the task of developing an agenda that will build on that success, packed with all the information agents need to be successful and profitable.”

Last year, topics ranged from reinsurance and service-drive sales, to training techniques such as video recording and role-playing. The 2013 agenda will continue to offer high-quality F&I training, and a second track has been added for small business development.

“The F&I training sessions have been popular, and we’ll continue to promote that aspect of the show,” said Tariq Kamal, co-show chair and publisher of Agent Entrepreneur. “But agents are also businessmen, and we want to create a forum to discuss the challenges they face in running their agencies.”

Suggestions for the second track have included such topics as finding new revenue streams, healthcare and 401(k) plans for small businesses. The full agenda, which remains a work in progress, will be released in the next few months.

Registration for Agent Summit 2013 will open on October 15th. For information about exhibition and sponsorship opportunities, contact David Gesualdo via email or call (727) 947-4027.
