Introducing Our New Managing Editor

Introducing Our New Managing Editor
This month, I'd like to take a few minutes to introduce our new Managing Editor, Toni McQuilken, who has taken over the editorial side of both AE Magazine, and our sister publication, P&A Magazine.
She comes to us with a decade of experience in trade publishing, where she managed magazines across several different industries. She was the managing editor for one that went to the hospitality market, and she was the editor of a weekly newsmagazine for the print and graphics market. So while she is new to our industry, she has experience with highly technical markets.
What she does bring to the table, for us, is a strong editorial mission - to strengthen both publications and make them the one-stop-shop for you to get your news and information. She wants to forge new relationships with all of the industry and it's top players (and plans to convince them to write for us, so be ready for her calls!) She plans to get us even more organized with our content, so we can make sure that you, our readers, are getting the best, most current, most informative features and news the industry has to offer.
The bottom line is that she comes to us as a seasoned and experienced editor, and she will bring all those skill and techniques to bear to make this publication the best it can be.
She has already started reaching out to some of you, and her first industry event will be the Industry Summit coming up next week in Las Vegas. I encourage you to seek her out and introduce yourself, as she is eager and anxious to hear from you, to hear what you'd like to see more or less of in this publication, and to hear what you love or maybe don't like so much, so she can truly make it a magazine that will serve your needs.
