CAR Partners With NAFA Fleet Management Association for 2026 Event

3 min to read

The Conference of Automotive Remarketing annual event known as CAR will return to its
founding audience roots in 2026, representing the voice and interests of business owners, fleet
managers, and the engaged fleet vehicle ecosystem.

“We have heard from fleet managers and business owners of all fleet sizes who want us to
return CAR as a forum to share thoughts on business vehicle remarketing topics, including
transfer of data consent between owners, state policies limiting a business owner to remarket
their vehicles directly, and most importantly value recognition that a fleet-owned and routinely
maintained vehicle, some having telematics or safety solutions installed, demands greater
remarket dollars at the end of its lease than is currently being done,” said Colin Sutherland,
CEO of Bobit Business Media Inc. (BBM).

“We are excited to share that CAR 2026 will be held in partnership with the NAFA Fleet
Management Association (NAFA) and will coincide with NAFA’s Institute & Expo (I&E) event in
2026”, says Sutherland. “I have been a member of NAFA for 20 years and respect the role the
association plays and aligns with our core audience and core values for collaboration and
forward evolution of industry topics.”

CAR 2026 will be held April 15 and 16, 2026, NAFA Institute & Expo (I&E) is April 13 to 15, 2026 in
Cleveland, Ohio.

Registration for CAR 2026 will open in October and include access to NAFA’s I&E exhibit hall
and discounted access for past CAR attendees wanting to connect with the broader fleet
ecosystem.

Nominations for the annual 2026 CAR Consignor and Remarketer of the Year Awards will be
open in October, coinciding with BBM’s Fleet Forward Conference that informs and celebrates
the fleet year ahead. New Awards recognizing excellence in Fleet Remarketing will be
announced soon.
