SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Vero (div. CU Direct Corp.) announced the market release of Maintain mobile application and Key ID, a new push-marketing mobile technology designed to enable dealers to retain service customers, effectively remarket VSCs and other F&I products, and engage customers like never before through their phones. The dealer-branded Key ID Bluetooth key fobs allow customers to instantly find their keys through the Maintain mobile app. Mileage beacons allow the app to automatically track and notify the customer of their maintenance status, safety recalls, and warranty status with up to 95% accuracy. This ensures that customers are aware of their maintenance needs and a built-in rewards program incentivizes them to return to their dealer for service, according to the company. For dealers, the Maintain app and Key ID establishes a direct communication channel with customers via their mobile device which is far more effective than email or direct mail. Dealers communicate through this channel using easy to design, automated Smart Campaigns pushed directly into the Maintain mobile app. Smart Campaigns utilize vehicle data captured by the Maintain app and Key ID to ensure messages are only delivered to customers when they are most relevant, said Vero CEO Joe Annoreno. “The Maintain app and Key ID addresses two pain points dealers shared with us,” Annoreno said. “Dealers asked for an affordable yet practical mobile app that enables them to push service and related messages to their customers and gives those customers valuable reasons for installing and keeping the app on their phones, including a lost-keys locator, a lowest gas-price finder and an easy to understand maintenance schedule.”
