The head of an Indiana auto group active in the state’s dealer association and in helping the communities surrounding its stores is the 2025 Time Dealer of the Year.

Raymond Farabaugh, president of Evansville-based D-Patrick Inc., rose to the top of a field of 49 nominees this year to win the prestigious industry nod.

The industry leader, a member of the Automobile Dealers Association of Indiana's board of directors, has previously served in every executive role of the group over the years.

Meanwhile, D-Patrick has donated money and scholarships to various community organizations, including the Ark Crisis Children’s Center, Boone County Cancer Society, Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra, Tri-State Food Bank, and Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden.

Time and award sponsor Ally Financial presented the honor to Farabaugh at the NADA Show in New Orleans last week.

Ally President of Dealer Financial Services Doug Timmerman noted the example Farabaugh’s contributions set for his industry colleagues.

"Raymond and all of the TIME Dealer of the Year nominees stand out for doing it right in their industry and investing in their communities and dealership teams," he said.

The honoree was chosen by a panel assembled at the University of Michigan’s Tauber Institute for Global Operations that picked finalists from each NADA region, then the ultimate winner.

This year’s other finalists are Sean Baxter of Kayser Ford in Wisconsin, George Haddad of Haddad Toyota in Massachusetts, Con Paulos of Con Paulos Chevrolet in Idaho, and Cathy Stender of Woody Anderson Ford in Alabama.
