FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — The Rick Case Automotive Group announced that Rita Case will assume the role of CEO, succeeding Rick Case, her late husband of 40 years and longtime business partner. Prior to her new role as CEO, Rita Case served as COO. Rita will continue to lead the auto group with the same business philosophy and commitment to excellent that she has alongside Rick for the past 40 years. They were seen in the auto industry as a team, they thrived on finding new frontiers, to pioneer new brands never sold in the U.S. Market. Their success was built on their commitment to providing an outstanding retail customer experience, developing the career opportunities for over 1,300 company associates and being a pillar in their community. Supporting organizations through their leadership, involvement and resources to raise over $100 million to date.

“After working side-by-side, building the company with my husband, the CEO role comes naturally. I do have one new goal, to make sure that Rick Case will always be remembered as a master in marketing, that attain volume sales records that still today have yet to be broken. Rita and Rick have two children, both in the business, Ryan, 39 and Raquel, 36, are in leadership roles and committed to keeping the "Rick Case" brand a business and community success. This year marks the 59th anniversary of the Rick Case Automotive Group. The company operates 16 dealerships in Florida, Georgia and Ohio, with over $1 billion in sales -- the Rick Case Automotive Group sells Acura, Audi, Hyundai, Genesis, Volkswagen, Kia, Mazda, Fiat, Maserati, Alfa Romeo and Honda Automobiles and Motorcycles.

Rita Case has received the following Awards and areas of recognition:  “National Dealers of the Year” by USA Today; Ernst and Young “Entrepreneur of the Year”; Automotive News “Outstanding Women in the Auto Industry” Award; Northwood University’s Dealer Education and Distinguished Woman of the Year Awards; “Business Leaders of the Year” awards from the South Florida Sun-Sentinel; 2018 “Influential Business Women Award” from the South Florida Business Journal; Junior Achievement Award; Leadership Broward Foundation Award; Rotary International Award; Nova Southeastern University’s “Humanitarians of the Year”; Association of Fundraising Professions’ “Outstanding Philanthropists and Philanthropic Corporation”; Ft. Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce’s “Woman Entrepreneur of the Year”; Women’s Automobile Association’s Spirit of Leadership Award American Cancer Society Award and American Heart Association Humanitarian Award. Rita Case was inducted into Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship 2019 class of the Entrepreneur and Business Hall of Fame, the Huizenga Business College’s highest honor and the 2020 FAU Business Leader of the Year Award.
