Porsche Board of Regents Chairman Mike Sullivan told the publication that dealers’ questions to brand executives at the show focused on sales and production this year, and that they’re clamoring for more inventory.

Sullivan told Automotive News that U.S. Porsche sales should be in the low 70,000s, about flat compared to last year but nevertheless profitable for its North American arm and its dealers.

Its 2022 U.S. retail deliveries totaled a tad over 70,000, a historic best for Porsche Cars North America and outperforming the 2021 record, it said. Its certified preowned sales rose 10% for a record of nearly 33,000.
