Donaldson Named President and COO Asia Pacific for The Warranty Group
CHICAGO - The Warranty Group, Inc., a global provider of service plan underwriting, marketing and administration, announced Jim Donaldson has been named President and COO Asia Pacific.
Donaldson joined the company in 2000, playing a key role in the opening and expansion of the Latin American market.
In 2009, he assumed responsibility for Asia Pacific operations as well. In his new role, he will focus solely on the Asia Pacific region, with responsibility for business development and operations in this increasingly important segment.
David Cole, Chairman, President and CEO, stated, "Jim has been instrumental in the opening and growth of new countries in Latin America, and he has led management in building a vibrant and consistently growing segment of our operations.
In his new position, Jim will focus solely on Asia Pacific, applying the same skills to identify and analyze new markets, build and implement business strategies and provide oversight of our infrastructure and human capital."
In the Asia Pacific region, The Warranty Group currently has operations in China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and Taiwan.
