Auto Group Exits U.S. Market
Sibling duo Gesell and Johnny Lillard enter Texas franchised automotive retail with the purchase of Solana Motors in Brady, Texas.

The dealership will now operate as Regency Chevrolet GMC.
Tim Lamb Group
Solana Auto Group sold its U.S. location, Solana Motors, in Brady, Texas, to Regency Holding LLC.
According to the Tim Lamb Group, which represented Solana in the transaction, the sale allows “Eduardo Solana, president of Solana Auto Group, LLC, to refocus the company's efforts on its remaining automotive dealership operations in Mexico while positioning the Brady dealership for continued growth under new ownership.”
Solana purchased the dealership in 2022 from Ray and Sue Lubke, who operated it for 32 years as Lubke's Cars & Trucks.
Regency is owned by siblings Gesell and Johnny Lillard. The Tim Lamb Group said, “the acquisition marks [their] expansion into franchised automotive retail and an opportunity to establish a stronger presence in the Brady community.”
“We had been looking for the right dealership, and when Mike introduced us to Solana Motors, we immediately saw the potential in both the business and the Brady community,” the Lillards said in a statement.
The dealership will now operate as Regency Chevrolet GMC.
