Asian auto brands nearly swept Kelley Blue Book’s 2025 Best Buy awards, Ford the sole American automaker to snag some nods.

To make its choices, the Cox Automotive brand said it tested almost all new and redesigned vehicles of the 2025 model year being sold in the U.S. The vehicles that rose to the top are those it recommends to new-vehicle shoppers.

The 11th iteration of the awards bestowed the most honors on Toyota, including best new model, which went to the Japanese automaker’s Camry, also winner of the midsize car category. The Tacoma was named best midsize truck and the Sienna the best minivan.

Ford scooped up the compact truck award with its Maverick, the full-size truck honors with the longtime best-selling F-150, and best electric truck for its Lightning.

Meanwhile, Japan-based Honda snagged awards for the best compact car – the Civic – and best compact SUV – the CR-V.

South Korean automakers Hyundai and Kia also each won two awards. Hyundai’s Kona was named best subcompact SUV and its Ioniq 5 best electric vehicle. The Kia Telluride won the best midsize SUV award and its EV9 the three-row electric vehicle nod.
