Approximately 10 million Americans now use Health Savings Account-eligible insurance plans, an increase of 25 percent from last year, according to a census released by America's Health Insurance Plans and reported by AOL Small Business. Just 1 million people used the plans in 2005.
The tax-deductible accounts have become popular among some small-business owners, because they allow them to provide health-care coverage they otherwise would not be able to afford.
