LAKE FOREST, Calif. — Portfolio won the Platinum award for Service Contract Reinsurance in the 2020 Dealers’ Choice Awards, adding to an unbroken streak of consecutive first- or second-place rankings that began when the category was introduced in 2008.

The Portfolio experience our team delivers every day is a big reason for our continued success and recognition in the Dealers’ Choice Awards.

The DCAs are based on an audited survey sent to Auto Dealer Today and F&I and Showroom readers and open only to dealers and dealership personnel. Each voter is asked to write in the name of their provider in at least five of 35 categories, then rate them in terms of quality and value of product or service, quality of customer service and whether they would recommend their provider to another dealer.

“Each year, dealers are asked whom they rely upon to drive success at their stores and groups, and each year, Portfolio emerges from a crowded field,” said President and CEO Brent Griggs. “It’s an important program and a singular honor. We owe a debt of gratitude to our dealer clients for their recognition and to our agents, reinsurance specialists and managing directors for their tireless efforts to drive F&I and reinsurance success at dealerships across America.”

Dealers have now ranked Portfolio among the industry’s top reinsurance providers for 13 straight years, a run that includes a category-high seven first-place Diamond awards. The company enhanced its position as a leading reinsurance and F&I products provider and administrator with the March acquisition of Strongsville, Ohio-based National Automotive Experts and NWAN.

“The Portfolio experience our team delivers every day is a big reason for our continued success and recognition in the Dealers’ Choice Awards,” said CSO Dan Haugen. “Everyone, from our staff in California and Texas and our partners in the field, deserves our thanks and congratulations.”
