HICKORY, N.C. — CornerStone United Inc. has been named to the 2018 Grant Thornton North Carolina Top 100 list of privately owned companies. This year’s NC100 honorees were recognized in a recent issue of Business North Carolina magazine.
Headquartered in Hickory, CornerStone is a provider and administrator of warranties and service contracts for clients in the automotive, marine, recreational vehicle, and powersports industries, serving manufacturers, dealers, and agents across the U.S. and Canada.
“We are honored to be highlighted as a top-performing company in the state,” said Richard Swartzel, CornerStone’s president and CEO. “The accolade puts us among North Carolina’s most progressive innovators and recognizes the stellar performance of our staff and its dedication to our clients and their customers.”
To be considered for the NC100, companies must be headquartered in North Carolina, may not be a subsidiary of another company and cannot have publicly traded stock. Companies featured on the list are based on revenue in the most recent fiscal year.
