The latest Dealer Attitude Survey by the National Association of Automobile Dealers shows a familiar cast of brands in the top spots.

Lexus topped the biannual ranking, followed by its Japanese company cohort Toyota. Rounding out the top five are BMW in the No. 3 spot, followed by Porsche and Honda, the latter of which returned to the top five after an unusual drop to sixth in the last survey.

The other ranking brands are Kia at No. 6, followed by Subaru, Mazda, Acura and Audi, in that order.

The survey gauged dealer sentiment this past summer.

Honda in particular has struggled with inventory limits brought about by industrywide supply-chain shortages.
