LAS VEGAS — Organizers of Agent Summit announced today that Arkansas F&I founder Lewis Mathews Jr. will act as moderator for “Face of Dealer Obstacles,” a panel discussion at the 2019 event, scheduled for May 19–22 at the Venetian & Palazzo Resort Hotel Casinos in Las Vegas.

Beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21, Mathews will be joined on stage by PRO Consulting’s Doug Dingman, James Nelson of First Resource, and Dealer Profits Inc.’s Joe Spivak. The panel is expected to address the face of dealer sales obstacles from getting the first meeting to installation and all the speed bumps in between.

“Overcoming obstacles is the lifeblood of our chosen profession,” said Mathews. “At the beginning of our careers, it was customer objections. Now, we deal with dealer objections. Hopefully, our panel can provide fresh, real-world ideas related to this issue.”

This panel of seasoned agents will spend the 45-minute session downloading all of the tips and tricks they can to help attendees increase sales and promote positive dealer relationships.

“Identifying and categorizing the ‘brush off’ feeds on a variety of factors and we all need to recognize those experiences,” said Agent Summit advisory board chair and United Development Systems President and CEO Randy Crisorio. “Knowing the obstacles and why they exist is money. This select team of experience is well-equipped to examine our efforts.”
