Zanan to Helm Compliance Session at Agent SummitLAS VEGAS — Compliance expert Max Zanan will present “The Perfect Dealership/The Perfect Dealer,” a session devoted to the agent’s role in promoting a culture of transparency in the F&I process, at the upcoming Agent Summit, organizers announced. The event will be will be held May 20–23, 2018, at the Venetian & Palazzo Resort Hotel Casinos in Las Vegas.

Warning agents never to become complacent about compliance, the founder and CEO of Total Dealer Compliance said attendees will leave with a clear understanding of the agent’s role in and responsibilities for their dealer clients’ adherence to the many rules and regulations that govern F&I sales.

“We live in the age of disruption and there are no sacred cows. Brick-and-mortar dealerships and general agents have to adopt and change in order to be viable in the next decade,” Zanan said. “Effective recruitment and onboarding, as well as a comprehensive compliance program, are the pillars of a transparent and customer-focused approach to automotive retail.”

Zanan’s session will begin at 1:40 p.m. on Monday, May 21, immediately following “Automotive F&I 2018: The State of Our Industry,” the opening keynote address from AUL President and CEO Jimmy Atkinson.

“Max is certainly one of our industry experts on this topic and he promises a theme of awareness that should evoke AGENT FEAR among us for those bad actors that are still in play,” said Randy Crisorio, president and CEO of United Development Systems (UDS) and chair of the Agent Summit advisory board. “Stay Alert and Stay Informed. There have been many agents that have lost business as they were blamed for not staying on top of store activity.”

Registration for Agent Summit 2018 is now open at the event’s website. To discuss sponsorship and exhibition opportunities, contact David Gesualdo at 727-947-4027 or via email.
