LAS VEGAS — Organizers of the upcoming Agent Summit have announced that Joshua Sonnier of American Financial & Automotive Services will lead a panel discussion dedicated to F&I products for lease customers at the event, which will be held May 21–24, 2017, at Paris Las Vegas.

“Capitalizing on Lease Opportunities” will begin at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23. The panel is expected to address the still-growing number of lease customers, how agents can claim their fair share of the market, and how to sell the value of protection products in the F&I office.

"Customers who choose to lease simply value a vehicle in different ways than a traditional finance or cash customer. These differing values drive their need for particular F&I products as well,” Sonnier said. “Identifying these values and presenting the right products with the right process leads to success."

Sonnier, who serves as American Financial’s vice president of product and compliance, will be joined by Bradford Blizzard, national vice president of sales for RoadVantage; Rick Meinke, ECP Inc.’s national sales manager; and Rick Roesel, director of F&I operations for Brown and Brown Insurance.

“Few agents are unaware of the income potential presented by the leasing market, but too many of their dealers are failing to capitalize,” said David Gesualdo, show chair and publisher of Agent Entrepreneur and F&I and Showroom. “Joshua and his group have the experience and expertise we need to fill in the gaps.”

Registration for Agent Summit 2017 is open at the event’s website. Attendees who register by April 21 will enjoy a $100 discount. To discuss sponsorship and exhibition opportunities, contact David Gesualdo at 727-947-4027 or via email.
